To observe the position of a system we must observe it with light, or something else of short wavelength. However, the amount that light interacts with a system depends only on its frequency, and to illumate a system with high-frequency light means to change its momentum which increases with frequency. Low frequency light gives the smallest change in momentum but it gives us less information about the position of the system we are observing. Obviously something with MORE mass is going to have WAY more momentum (F=ma) and light shining on it is going to cause no noticeable change.
