Given that the mortality of Chink Flu patients receiving advanced respiratory support is somewhere between 50-95%, you'd expect the net benefit of the therapy to be small, or even negative.
And none of these quacks demanded RCTs (like they demand for HQC/Z-Pak/Zinc cocktail therapy) before intubating thousands of people.
Instead it was just assumed that Chink Flu hypoxemia is influenza ARDS (for which there admittedly are some vent/ECMO RCTs), and they went right into robotic, medlet "muh protocol" mode.
Now they have ICUs full of intubated patients who will die because of their incompetence, but at least they get to act like bigshots and grandstand and attention whore on social media.
