Information imparted is designed primarily to stimulate neurons in a human's brain, ultimately to the effect that they are able to then provide to others a set of instructions that benefit all.
You see most that I interact with usually have some 'if I have a process/equation/method that could achieve a result within these boundaries/expectations, eureka!' style communique.
By definition if I give you something it would become something you would have to define and explain to others, not me. Of course if the information I provide doesn't stimulate that within you that is strictly my failing and fault, not yours.
