The only time I recall reading this was from an anonymous source that seemed to contradict itself on very simple (as in high school biology education) matters.

I know 99% of everything on the internet about Corona is just tabloid fake news and pointing fingers at the WHO and China, but is there a valid source on this?

A lot of it is cherry picking of a few freak cases in poorly explained newspaper articles (not even scientific papers).
