A fun fact.
As you may know he’s partly American whose mother was born in US.
He’s basically raised in US, since 5yo, hence his English is native tier.
Having said that, he’s explicitly stating his antagonist opinion towards the language of English in his blog.
As an example, he mentioned his experience (maybe) that in English there’s no other way to express it (the pic) than “Japanese eat rice wrapped in seaweed with chopsticks” and he said “there is a clear nuance of ‘it’s an unsightly custom of barbarian miserably eating gross things with primitive cutlery’” even though it’s a really nostalgic and symbolic scenery in lives of Japanese family.
