I have always suspected that grades are dependent more on the classes you take simultaneously and not your ability.

Congratulations, you're finally challenging yourself. You will work out that your undergraduate means little in current year.

I'm studying biological engineering. I have gone through a phase where I've wanted to get into upper division education programs and do research, but at this point I'm wanting to just get a nice paying job as soon as possible so I can live the rest of my life with my family with less financial concerns.

What would you advise? This board is naturally more suited for the lifelong academics. Do grades matter less for someone like me? That being said, I do genuinely want to learn as much as I can in this time, and see grades as a metric of how well I understand everything,
