Is the idea that the universe simply exists as it does and churns away like a machine truly a safe assumption to make? What if the universe was in fact alive and the laws and rules put into place with intention kept alive by a being? Would it not be dangerous to assume the universe just is and not question anything? After all the laws of the universe lead to starvation, disease, death, violence, and pain. What if the universe didn't have to have rules like this? What if instead it could exist in such a way so there was no evil? Why would it be wrong to ponder this or to even believe this on the off chance it were correct? What if we could change the rules so there was no more evil?
