Someone explain why Celsius is superior to Farhenheit without resorting to the bandwagon fallacy. No, I don't care that water freezes at 0°. I'm not a fucking autist, so fuck off with that "neat and orderly" bullshit too.

Note: this is not a discussion on metrication in general. This is specifically about one arbitrary set of measurements replacing another.

It isn't. It doesn't matter. If you can't convert between the two, you aren't doing anything important anyways. Furthermore, they both suck, not that it matters. Go use Rankine like an actual human being. France uses the metric system, and their GDP still sucks. Stay mad, europoor.

Sure, but I stumbled on a video that purported to be about the Fahrenheit scale, but was just an exasperated complaint about the failure of metrication in general. I was wondering if there was something I overlooked in my dismissal of Celsius.

Frankly, I prefer the relatively granular degrees of Fahrenheit for describing ambient temperature. I suppose that's not a huge advantage in the grand scheme of things.

Celsius has the same scale as the "absolute temperature" scale, Kelvin. They call this "absolute temperature" because it goes to zero at the minimum (if measured normally, not including spin temperature). Nothing about the scale of Celsius connects it to thermodynamics. You can just as well define a new temperature unit for Fahrenheit, like the Kelvinheit, to have the same scale as Fahrenheit but be an absolute temperature. The fact that the value of Celsius comes entirely from the definition of a third unit should tell you that Celsius is as scientifically worthless as Fahrenheit, and that the only good unit is the Kelvin.

Changes in temperature are what define heat transfer, and the amount of entropy transferred into a system is ?S=Q/T. How's that for a connection to thermodynamics, chump?

Celsius is more intuitive for everyday use with the 10-100 concept (despite your protestations about not using that point. It's very flat-Earth "All photo are CGI" of you).
Celsius DOES convert to Kelvin more simply, though I don't see a practical use for that.
It's used by everyone in the world, so miscommunication would be lessened and we'd all intuitively understand each other's weather reports.

Ultimately, all scales are a human construct, so there is not particular superiority of one over another. But convention is the strongest argument for any scale.
