As I said, in my case these stones were somehow caused by smoking. Mb also drinking a lot. These things do disturb mouth biota
Tonsil stones are now long gone, but marks are still there. Mb once in a while I'll spit smt the size of a grain of sand but thats it.
Mb hadnt i poked em out, they would have just fallen off and left no matks
