PhD student here. I'm far more productive and relaxed since no surprise student visits to be expected. Much easier to plan ahead and assort time slots to things.
Also very efficient as I can eat and/or fap during video conferences or whenever really.

Not great.
I do remote work atm., for a team working for a big Silicon Valley company.
I wake up 2 hours later and work on various times throughout the day and I don't really stop working mode. Turns out a 9 to 5 schedule helps me, at least for the job (the work that I don't "live for")
