hit or miss. they either work well compared to a placebo or don't work at all.
in my opinion they are better than cocaine or weed or the other psychoactive substances (in terms of damage and side effects) that may be used to treat depression but they're still drugs

I use zoloft. Sometimes I literally forget to take it altogether. I have never experienced withdrawals. From my anecdotal experience, zoloft has no addictive properties, take that as you will.

Escitalopram, I think it's called Lexapro in the US, made me completely lose my fear of social situations. Before the drug it was so bad I sometimes couldn't leave my room, fearing that I could meet someone.

It also made it harder to reach orgasm when masturbating. I found this nice because it made edging easier.
