The underlying misconception and confusion in all of this is this weird idea that there is such a thing as 0.0000000...1
This DOES. NOT. EXIST. There is no such thing as an infinite expansion of digits and then a final digit at the end. It doesn't fucking exist and it is incredibly easy to immediately intuitively understand why it cant exist (and there are absolute irrefutable mathematical proofs for why it can't exist).

0.00000....1 > 0 implies
1/0.0000....1 > 0 implies
log_10( 1/0.0000.....1 ) exists and it's a well-defined real number. implies
there exists an integer N such that N > log_10( 1/0.0000.....1 )
working backwards one obtains

0.000......1 > 1/10^N

clear contradiction with the meaning of 0.000....1

The notation 0.000... suggests 0 exhausts all decimal places, so there isn't one with 5.
