Since this virus wrecked the global economy, a recession seems inevitable. What are the facts on how many deaths are caused by a recession? Have we actually killed more people overall by shutting everything down and triggering a recession?

Its hard to measure the total mortality rate of a recession because it takes decades to pan out.

Example: Someone who lost his job in 2009 could be struggling now to afford medical help he needs that would have been covered if he kept that job and his career advanced further.
