How does one _ethically_ go about addressing the possible dysgenic effects of modern society? Specifically the poor and the "stupid" procreating at an increasing rate compared to those more intelligent and successful. Worse yet, the" upper levels of society" end up subsidizing the "lower levels". There is no longer a necessity for parents to provide for their off spring so in turn there is very little selection pressure on who grows up to sexual maturity and procreates. The "bad genes" are no longer being weeded out by virtue of being bad, at least not to such a degree as in the past.

Considering intelligence, among with a host of other things, have a genetic component, should this be a concern for the future of humanity?
