Since obviously no doctor is going to be involved in this because 'murica, it needs to be bandaged tightly as possible the next few days so that the tissue can adhere to itself (mind the blood restriction tho) and cleaned at least two times a day. Soarness and pain is completely normal since it's only the second day and it will swell even more. The wound is in a really bad spot that's always in motion so recovery will take a while. If you see a sign of puss or if it changes color, then you should probably go see a doctor and get some antibiotics and possibly a tetanus shot.
