Can men suffer from hybristophilia?

In recent times,it appears that a lot of female criminals have been gaining "love" from men in the internet, one of those examples is Yuka Takaoka, who tried to stab her crush because she "loved him too much" (https://nextshark.com/japanese-woman-stabs-man/). Instead of being publicly shamed, she actually gained reverence from men across the internet, (including 4chan, obviously) who said that they wish that some girl would do the same thing to them. Brenda Spencer (in this thread's picture) was the first american school shooter, and responsible for killing 2 people and injuring another 9 on Cleveland Elementary school, but for some reason the first thing that came from men's mouths at the time and even to this day is how beautiful she was at the time.Other examples are men orbiting and requesting the freedom of Natasha Cornett (a "goth/punk" cult leader who killed a family with the help of her goons on Tennessee in April 6,1997) thanks to her "naive but troubled goth" facade that she presented during her trials. Is it hybristophilia? or is it some other thing? according to the common definition, this mental condition is exclusively a female problem, generally seem by women who just present fetishes for bad men or women who think that can fix people, what drives men to be in love with female killers though? is it loneliness?, low self-esteem?, a combination of both?, or is it other totally diferent thing?
