I didn't bother with all the subsections of the Quantum Mechanics applications because they're beyond me for now; for context of my level of understanding, this semester I'll be finishing Calc 3, Intro to DiffEqs, and Physics 2 (essentially E&M). I'm writing a paper on the Airy differential equation and need to explain two applications of it, but I'm not sure which ones I should choose. I heard there was same "controversial" application to wind flow over a wing but I couldn't find any resources on it. What are some good applications that aren't necessarily physics (physics is good too if that's where all the cool ones are), and that I could realistically wrap my head around at a basic level?
