There seriously shouldn't be negative/damaging emotions and especially not repeating those damaging emotions, it makes absolutely no sense from an evolutionary standpoint to be capable of having depression, sadness and physical pain.
Makes absolutely no sense when for example frogs don't give two shits about having their organs sticking out. I bet most reptiles don't feel and don't need bio-substances and chemical emotions like mammals "need". For example spiders do feel pain, really fucking stupid.
For example jumping spiders' brains do infinitely more things than giant spiders can't think of. Also dolphins with giant brains are wasteful.
A fucking jumping spider with a tiny brain can do more things than a huge brain.
