And that’s not even counting the ever present threat of WW3 and nuclear annihilation.

It feels like we live in scarier times than any other in history. It really does feel like the 21st century will be humanity’s last. Is extinction in the near future inevitable?

Thankfully I think cool heads will prevail. Nobody wants to rule over a like of dirt especially not the elites. Regardless, the chances of coronavirus breaking the global economy rest on how major nation's choose to solve the supply crisis as well as the trajectory of this virus.

If it lasts all year were in for some real shit but even then we'll probably be fine, if it only lasts 6 months or so, God willing regulations are lifted and vaccines and treatments are rushed out, things will be able to return to normal sooner.

There also seems to be 2 strains out there, one with a 1% chance death rate and another one with a 10% chance death rate. We'll see how this goes I guess

It's pretty much the safest time in history. Nukes are spooky but no one wants to use them because of how shit they are, and how interconnected the world is. 100 years ago it wasn't normal to know people from different countries. Now it's the norm.

Cornavirus is a health filter, and yeah future ones are going to be problematic but nothing that can take out humanity as a whole.
Same with superbugs.
Not sure about climate change. It's gonna change at some point anyway regardless of human interaction, so we're gonna have to learn to adapt anyway.
