First, it needs to be pointed out that infinity is different in different contexts. It is relevant here, to consider it as a point on either $S_1\simeq\mathbb{R}\cup \{\infty\}$ or on $\mathbb{P}^1(\mathbb{C})\simeq\mathbb{C}\cup \{\infty\},$ with addition, multiplication, subtraction and division defined the usual way.
Then for the indeterminate forms you mention, we get discontinuities, e.g. $\lim_{(x,y)\to(0,0)} \frac{x}{y}$ is undefined, since we can use a sequence where x is any multiple of y we want, where y approaches zero.
So basically, we cannot define a limit for these forms.

Depending on the context and limitaions you can indeed calculate as OP said, but you habe to be aware of some things..

Mind that math is all about axioms and what follows from them. If you want to do „infinity math“ do so - but know what you are doing.

Because we chose to not to definite those operations at those points. We could and in fact, they are defined in some treatments where partial functions are more cumbersome than total functions (e.g.: in HOL4). They are usually left undefined because there is no way to define them in such a way that it preserves the algebraic identities that hold at other points.

You forgot 1/inf.

n/inf is the same exact thing as n/0. Indeterminable.
"1/inf = 0" implies 0×inf = 1, but that isn't the case. 1/inf = 2/inf = 3/inf = etc.
Inf/inf should also equal 1 if infinity is to be treated as a number.
And if it's not treated as a number, then 1/inf makes no sense. No more sense than 1/potato, because potato isn't a number either.

Math needs to be reformed.

But it can be shown the limit is 1, via
$\frac{x}{x}; x= (1 - (\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} \frac{9}{10^n}))$ for any n. As x approaches 0, x/x approaches 1.

If limits aren't fine here, then limits aren't fine anywhere.

lim n to infinity means "find me a number such that after a finite number of steps the sequence starts to equals this number up to an arbitrarily small precision"

It seems like $\infty$ is being treated like a number in the second case, but not in the first. It's like each case is defining infinity differently, as if it isn't even a discrete and well-understood idea.
