how long does it take take learn the algorithms
basic and the advanced types
IQ is 132 but I'm color blind so the rubik red and orange look too similar to me
thinking of getting the tactile cube

for the basic stuff you need to solve it over like 3-4 minutes it doesn't take that long. There are about 4 or 5 certain algorithms moves to remember, rest is just knowing what to do and some logic. Sometimes a color is in a weird place but you can just fix that with your own reasoning.

How do I into speedsolving? I'm an amateur solver, I can solving doing the white-side-first and then bottom and middle layer etc & so on method, but I don't know where to start with speed solving. Any advice?

It's nothing to do with being smart it's just about memorising algorithms and practising

I really can't be bothered learning PLL and OLL, I do my 7x7 more now anyway it's more fun.
