I propose spreading the phrase "pandemic readiness". Hear me out.
Melodious phrases get repeated by reporters and people, like "social distancing". I've never heard of that phrase until a month ago. Now it's everywhere.
If we can spread the idea of pandemic readiness, people will interpret it however they want. By infecting public discourse with "pandemic readiness", we can shift public discussion towards how to implement pandemic response policies.
I just want to avoid the next bullshit economic shutdown.
