Conventional accepted treatment for gender dysphoria is absolutely insane from a medical standpoint; screwing around with hormones causes so many problems down the line. There’s a reason why trans people have a short life expectancy and it’s not just because of the suicide rate, hrt causes permanent damage on the cellular level. Blocking puberty in dysphoric children is even more insane; dooming them to a lifetime of infertility, compromised bone health and dependence on man-made hormones just to function.
We are killing these people in pursuit of a fruitless ideal, and this is not only accepted but encouraged. What the actual fuck
