how to make isopropanol?

The preppers and hoarders didn't leave any hand sanitizer for anyone else so I'm going to make my own.
I have propane and oxygen. Anyone know how to turn them to isopropanol?

Propane + oxygen -> CO2
CO2 + MeMgBr -> AcOH
AcOH + Ca(OH)2 -> Ca(OAc)2
Ca(OAc)2 + heat -> acetone
Acetone + LiAlH4 -> isopropanol

it's pretty easy to create ethyl alcohol which is better for sanitation.
>water + sugar + airlock + jar + brewer yeast (or whatever it's called).
>leave it somewhere warm and dark for few days
>take it once gasses stop coming out of the airlock
>filter it
>distill it by heating it to and keeping the temp at 80 degrees Celsius (VERY IMPORTANT) then collect the vapor. the vapor is the alcohol
>test purity by weight (ethanol weighs 789g per liter while water weighs 1000g per liter)
>if it's not pure enough (<60%) distill it again
>if it is too pure (>70%) add water until it's somewhere between 60% and 70%

The recipe is simple just make sure you mix it thoroughly and have the correct proportion of alcohol (60%)

Yeah ethanol's my other plan but the hoarders got all the sugar too, and I'm guessing chemical methods would be faster than bio. Plus I already have the propane so may as well try something.
