>>11503159>Dude anyone would go insane from those conditions.Not really. First, they pick mentally stable people. Secondly, they give them things to do. They're not just staring at the walls. They will give them science to run, they'll have to do exercise, make repairs/maintenance, they'll have films, things to read, music to listen to, each other's conversation, they'll have frequent contact with those back home too. Plus they'll have the knowledge that they are advancing humanity forward and have a very important mission.
It won't be easy, and will require the right people, but it isn't impossible because it's not actual total isolation.
