immune system and weight loss for SARS-CoV-2

I'm a normie, and from the information ive been able to find on this virus it seems the two biggest risk factors are firstly age, and after that BMI, notably the higher your BMI the greater the risk with even underweight people being at less risk than normal BMI people. im sat at about 23.7 at the moment but i grew up obese and spent the last 2 years trying to be rid of it. i had a 6 month break in which i gained 20 of my lost 70 lbs back, and since then ive lost a few more lbs. i stopped again however due to concerns about being infected with this while having a weakened immune system. would it be smarter to try and slowly lose some weight during this with a small calorie defecit vs male RDI and get daily exercise, or should i maintain my current weight?

id ask in a COVID-19 thread but they all seem to be specific and there doesnt appear to be a general at this time.
