Did you really think you would be just a blip in existence, that everything that exists would be experienced through your eyes only to never exist in your experience again? Everything exists in your perception, only for an instant never to be experienced again.
>well that's not true because other people will take the mantle of exper-
Who gives an absolute fuck. The universe exists to you only to you through your eyes and experience. When you die and enter oblivion, things do not just "carry on." There is no time, no space, no universe in oblivion. The world, if the big bang spontaneously just happened, has and will happen again an infinite number of times. Either you will be you again, or you'll realize that there's no reason you would be you in the first place, and seek to find why, meaning what for, you exist, now.
The prevalent lack of awareness in people is the best argument for solipsism. I half expect to wake up when I die, pull of some headset, and go "6/10 would not go again."
