Due to its large population, China was able to take advantage of economics of scale and become a world power, but it's still an underdeveloped third world country. It simply grew massively on the back of miserable wages, no labor rights, and stealing Western technology, which in itself only became possible because America wanted to destroy the USSR and that meant propping up China after the Sino-Soviet split.
For some reason, the Chinks managed to fool a large percentage of the world population into thinking their political and economic model was:
A) Sustainable
B) An example of good governance
C) Worth emulating
The answer is that it's neither.
