Okay, I am not smart enough to actually know any of the actual equations, and I do not feel like trying to spend a few researching to understanding at least some of them on a basic level, but I figured the anons here might be able to answer this.
In My Hero Academia, Uraraka Ochaco can remove the gravity of an object. This presents some... VERY interesting implications. As I understand it, terminal velocity is related to earth gravity. So, if Uraraka can remove that, can she theoretically accelerate something beyond terminal velocity? And for that matter, is there even a limit to how "fast" she can allelerate something to? I try to write fanfiction for the series, and these kinds of questions pop into my head whenever I try to figure out how to alter the canon events, and powers to be more unique, and interesting, to make sure it is distinct from the actual series. I just wonder exactly how OP this power would be if she could suddenly instantly accelerate something to light speed (with a corresponding force, obviously). At the very least, with a moderate level of effort, it seems like she could set up a person/villain to be suddenly accelerated to speeds far beyond that which would normally be acheivable with terminal velocity being a factor.
Again, I am not actually acquainted with the equations, or any of the math, actually, besides knowing 32 feet/second/second, andI was curious how her power might work with, say, Deku's super strength suddenly accelerating someone without any gravity holding them back from speeding away far faster than should be possible, and then her suddenly returning the gravity to that objsct, or person.
(Also, ignore the image. It forced me to add one, and thos was all I had.)
