I am currently waiting on the side of a road for a local toilet paper manufacturer to open.
They are a wholesaler to hotel and motels.
They do 2 sales a week.
96 rolls for $35, 1 box per car, cash only.
Drive thru only.
They open at 8am. Been here since 4am.
175 vehicles in front of me, 400 behind me..With an hour to go.
They will sell until 2pm or supply runs out.
Last Friday they sold 2000 cases in 2.5 hours.
5 people in my family, using cut up paper towels for the past few days.
Have plenty of food, water, medicine.
Toilet paper situation is crazy.
Neighbor has 1500 rolls and 5k water bottles. Opens the garage door so people can see. Won't sell any. Son sits in a chair with a shotgun. He has a POD in the driveway filled with canned food.
Still have to work today, essential job, manager is hiving me time to get the paper.
Worst part is I really have to take a shit, all this sitting, no where to go, doing the Please Not Know Hold It Shit Dance in my seat.
