Travelers mandatory quarantined for precaution.
World air travel down -60% in a month.
1.3 billion learners were out of school due to school closures in response to COVID-19. According to UNESCO monitoring, over 100 countries have implemented nationwide closures.
Most mass events, tournaments, concerts, sports and mass gatherings banned.

Yeah, that's the weird thing. By all the data I've seen H1N1 was much more serious and yet, of course, nobody I knew got sick from it and there was no real quarantine efforts or anything. Not sure why the global freakout over this one, honestly.

That's a range so huge that makes your prediction meaningless. 1% is an extremely high rate for a virus this contagious. 0.05% would be negligible.

COVID-19 has almost 100x the fatalities of H1N1 compared to the same part of the outbreak. And that multiplier is growing daily.
