that racists don't understand simple statistics is also shown by their love for the 13/50 stat. 13/50 tells you nothing except that black people are over represented. everyone knows that already. but how dangerous is the average black person really? not at all obviously, as the pic shows.
if 1 in 10000 women were a murderer and 4 in 10000 men were murderers. then men would be 50% of the population but responsible for 80% of all murder. 50/80.
sounds bad if you don't understand the numbers behind this. but it would also mean that 99,96% of all men are completely harmless. compared to 99.99% of all women. the average man would be unnoticeable more dangerous than the average woman. and yet 50/80. same thing with 13/50 obviously, it tells you that there is a very slight average difference.
