Does anyone with a brain actually believe in this or give it any credence?

It argues nothing.. I have ZERO memory or identity with a past existence. Identity is just a self defined metaphor when consciousness emerges from assorted matter. In the same way that I won't become a baby that was born today, I won't suddenly become a baby that is born after I die.. That baby will just be a newly created emergent subjective experience.

I literally don't understand what these goobers are arguing for when they say reincarnation is real, and then when you confront them about it they say "OH yeah you don't keep ur memories BRO.. but its still YOU".
