How would you mathematically define consent or further expansion required in order to define limit/boundary?

Communication is purely consent-seeking, affirmation/advertising of cycles and horizon broadening. So to me limiting another is inherently peculiar but I don't see any real examples of people being limited save for believing in narratives instead of functions/sets/expressions/variables.
