Also, not really the better, but some infections such as TB, PJP, and sepsis are less symptomatic (though very bad) with highly weakened immune systems due to the inability of your body to fight them with normal immunity measures (fever, swelling, etc). If your immune system comes back online (ex. taking HIV therapy) patients will become "worse" symptomatically.
