The price of larger rockets has gone down significantly over the past decade, and even the largest rockets flown are still easier and cheaper than any anti-gravity project. Why? Because a rocket can be made with today's materials, meanwhile anti-gravity would require the use of exotic materials which hasn't even been confirmed to exist. Not to say that anti-gravity is worthless, nor that ti shouldn't be pursed, but there's far more sensible use of resources.

"antigravity" is not real and cannot exist for the same reason there is no FTL or backwards time travel. Gravity is inexorably linked to time and if you consider what effect nullifying gravity would have on the fabric of spacetime, you will realize that "antigravity" is fundamentally flawed as a concept.

you can still use gravity in a way to repel something away from you but it wont be negative gravity

ie gravitoelectromagnetism

gravity is just the processing speed of the universe and when there is densely packed information it will slow down every objects arrow around them in 4D space time
