Is Russian/Eastern education superior to other systems of education? We had several transfer student from these countries here in
Switzerland and they were really good at math (and even German/French+Sports+history) even at a very young age.

Yes and no.

You see, transfer students are usually above average.

So are the kids who finish math-heavy majors in top unis.

But most end up really fucking stupid and ignorant.

eastern curriculum is much harder than western.
when i immigrated from the Balkans i skipped two classes to focus more on learning language and because the retards there were still learning first degree equations and Pythagorean theorem while we were already learning trigonometry, quadratic functions, polynomials, etc.

Education is pretty strict compared to the west and there are a lot of fear tactics at play by the teachers, but I wouldn't say the education system breeds geniuses over here.
