Can anyone verify the answer to this for me?

My answer:
(this is assuming that the Chinese Heretic has not been blessed with money so he can not afford shoes so he does not have any shoes)
x= 1 shoe
y= Chinese Heretic Denying Our Lord and Savior Jesus Without a Whistle
z= 1 whistle

Equations:
6x=30
2x+2z+2y=20 (2 whistles on Chinese Man + 2 shoes + 2 Heretics)
5z + y= 13 (4 stand-alone whistles+1 whistle + Heretic)

Using a system of three linear equations:
6x+30
x=5

Substitute in 2nd Equation:
2(5)+2z+2y=20
10+2z+2y=20
2z+2y=10

Using the third linear equation (5z+y=13),
we get a system of two linear equations.

Subtracting 5z+y=13 from 2z+2y=10 equals -3z+y=-3. Solving for y yields y=3z-3.

Substituting y=3z-3 into 5z+y=13 yields 5z + (3z-3)=13 or 8z-3=13. Solving for z yields 8z=16 or z=2.

Then substitute z=2 into y=3z-3 to yield y=3(2)-3 or y=6-3 or y=3.

So the answer is (5,3,2).

Check:
6x=30
6(5)=30
30=30

2x+2z+2y=20
2(5)+2(2)+2(3)=20
10+4+6=20
20=20

5z+y=13
5(2)+3=13
10+3=13
13=13

So substituting 5 for x, 3 for y, and 2 for z in the equation x+y*z yields 5+3*2 or 5+6 or 11.

Note: I do understand how the Heretic is a complicated variable which is why I assume that the Heretic is so pauper that he can not afford shoes because he has not been blessed with the Lord's generous money.
