>>11491002You're ignoring that it already killed hundreds of thousands if not millions in China alone. Phone companies all reported enormous drops in subscriber numbers, in the millions. Chinese people are largely aware of this and are staying indoors as much as they can, while most companies turn the lights on and off and even keep offices and machinery running to keep up a facade of a return to business as usual. The facade is meant for the CCP and its banks which literally run everything, so companies do it so they don't pull the plug on them, but a cynical mind might see a concerted strategy that the CCP enforces on everyone so the pretense is literally weaponized against the world.
Look at every Asian country outside China, especially neighboring ones where the virus has already run rampant for months, and take an averaged CFR of those and apply that to even a fraction of the population of China and you'll see 3500 deaths is more than just pure fiction when it had already spread to every corner of China before Hubei was locked down, especially when we consider the real data coming out of Italy and Spain, and before you say b-but G-Germany and F-France consider the only thing separating those countries is time.
Such losses are acceptable to the CCP if that means it could inflict far greater losses and damage on its enemies. Source for Chinese telecom data in next post.
