>>11490644>>11492150>>11493071My suggestion is to read some stuff on body language. There are countless books, I just went to the library as a kid and read some random ones. Most contain essentially the same information.
The next step involves watching people, go to a public location where it is socially acceptable for you to look at people like a mall. Observe two people interacting and based on their body language and how they react start forming a story on what is happening.
Actually understanding how a person works on a deep level builds from that in my experience. When you can identify that certain ticks betray certain emotions you can start understanding what people feel. When you can understand how people feel you can start generating stories about what they do. Then once you can do that you start to really understand people.
Also an intro neuroscience book is pretty helpful
