Why is the media pushing this absurd shit so much? Is there any scientific evidence that economic difficulty leads to baby booms?

So much of the panic is fabricated by the media being irresponsible. In most places there is 0 evidence there would be a toilet paper shortage, but the media insisting on this enough and only showing news about this causes people to freak out and hoard.

It's like that suicide phenomenon, and the media learned their lesson for this. Is there any scientific justification for a baby boom right now or is this just the toilet paper shortage manipulation 2.0 ?

Are they trying to replace the dying boomers?
