First you determine what cos(alpha), sin(-beta), and cos(-beta) have to be, then use the formula for the sine of a sum. The numbers might have been chosen so that things don't get too horrible.

This is high school - level trigonometry, but here is a bit more. You know that if s = sin(alpha), and c = cosi(alpha), then s^2 + c^2 = 1? So c = +- square root of (1 - s^2), where the sign depends on the quadrant.
