Not just that but we need a strong arm of the state to deal with this crisis right away. We're going to have to remain on lockdown for several months, and that means suspending normal life so I don't give a fuck about your rights and your civil liberties or you're stupid freedoms when our nation is under attack from an existential threat like a virus screw your rights.
