Explain me epigenetics.

1) How environment actually alters genetic expression.
2) How the fuck these alterations 'propagate' to all cells.
3) How the fuck the alteration produced 'matches' the external events that produced them. E.g. stress induced epigenetics produces precisetly, changes in fear responses (and not some other random trait).
