>>11487066the thing with programming is a matter of developing the "knack". once you have that most languages you'll wield you'll have no problem getting a grip on and it'll seem like it's just a matter of syntax. not to say that is entirely true since all languages do have their own strengths and weakness beyond syntax. some are object oriented, some have garbage collection, some rely on pointers, structural differences, etc. so not all languages are able to do what others can't but getting a knack for programming is key to making the most of any language. what you really want to practice is writing algos. write some sorting, search, learning, clustering, etc algos and that should get you there.
