>>11486529i really hate writing too, anon. getting your writing done is way less worse than having it hang over your head though. the trick is to do a little each day. it may seem like you should be able to pump a paper out in a weekend, but that's not how it works for most fields. moreover, after you write up one article, you see the whole process really isn't so bad, even if there are a lot of pieces (research, analysis, typesetting with latex, producing vector figures, compiling bibliographies, etc.).
