You'll be fine OP don't worry. I just had it (undiagnosed, but I don't know what the hell else my sickness would have been). Basically I had a headache for about 3 days, a really bad fever for one day, and then fatigue and a little headache for like 5 days after and I feel pretty good right now, I think I'm over it. NO coughing or congestion at all. You should probably only start worrying if you start coughing like a maniac.

Get someone to drop off a bunch of food, and get read to chill the fuck out for a few days. Do nothing but relax, eat, and sleep. You should be fine, but in case you start to have trouble breathing, go to the emergency room of your local hospital. Call before you leave to see if they can accommodate you.

And don't be around anyone before you're completely recovered, obviously.

It's a virus that lives in the lungs, coughs are common. The pic is based on like 40 people, can't infer too much from it.

I'm not saying that everyone coughs, but the large majority do. Flu is also going around, in fact it's still a lot more common than the kong flu, and almost always is accompanied by a fever, sans cough. So it's simply more likely to be that. That's all.

I haven't had a fever in like five years though, plus me uni is like 60-70% chinese. It just seems like too good a coincidence. Given the fact that many people don't even show symptoms at all, it seems reasonable that many people will just have fevers/regular immune responses to fight off the virus without serious lung infection.

Yes I read your fucking post, and yes, the common flu is more common, but you're ignoring the fact that the common flu hasn't affected me at all for years and what I'm saying is that, for me to suddenly have flu-like symptoms out of nowhere, there is a possibility of it being coronavirus and it's not a particularly low possibility even if it also could very well be the flu. I never said it couldn't be the flu. Also the picture I posted was just what I found but if you find the larger datasets online which I don't feel like finding for you, fever is still the most common sympton: more common than a cough. It would do you well to either stop acting like a smug prick or go back to rebbit.
