>>11480910A bunch of reasons they already stated, like keeping people working especially the NHS staff, give schools time to prepare homework packs for the pupils, it's the exam period, if schools close then it would like be the vulnerable grandparents looking after the kids, etc. Closing schools is a lose-lose situation, and they rather minimise damage as long as possible.
