I need your big brains to help me out here. I found this paper
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6936719/
That tested for 11 different viruses in sample from cases of the flu(44,230 cases over 9 years). In approx 10% of cases, coronavirus was present. I dont want to leap to any conclusions, but is this coronavirus pandemic just testing for a previously untested virus? I guess the big question I have right now is, what is the regular baseline amount of coronavirus infections per year, as compared to this year?
