>>11477903imagine an eye and two non parralel lines coming away at the same angle from a point on that eye. notice how the further away you go from the eye, the larger the length between the two lines are. now, the gap between these two lines are a little bit like your field of view, the amount of stuff you can see increases the further away from your eye it is. what I mean is, if you look at a ruler from really close you might not be able to see the entirety of it but as you move it away from your eyes you would be able to see more and more of it. now think back to the two dimensional analogy, if i spawn in a line close to the eye, it would just barely fit and would cover most of the distance between those two non parralel field of view lines, but as i move this line away from the eye, the distance between those two non parralel lines would increase meaning that the line would go from making up most of the eye's vision to a smaller and smaller percentage of it
